Opportunities From: Serve Village

Volunteer: Seeds of Caring- in person and remote service projects for kids ages 2-12

Ready to engage your young kids in service, community building and social action? Please check out our remote family-friendly volunteer opportunities: https://www.seedsofcaring.org/indianapolis

New projects will post on the 1st of each month.

We offer service projects for kids ages 2-12 and their caring adults. There are several different projects offered per month, some are Anywhere Projects (remote) and some are In Person events held at the sites of our Non-Profit Partners. Families, faith-based organizations, scouts, classrooms and other groups of kids can participate in our Anywhere Projects (remote).  Each project or event will take 60-90 minutes and a variety of topics are offered each month. At the conclusion of an Anywhere Project, you'll drop off your completed donations to one of our collection points around the Indy area and we will take them to a local nonprofit who needs them.  At our In Person events families register to attend together to participate in an educational activity, engage in a hands-on service project, and are provided with meaningful reflection. Current Anywhere Projects and In Person Events can be found on our website https://www.seedsofcaring.org/indianapolis .

Volunteer: Seeds of Caring Ambassador

Seeds of Caring creates service, social action and community building opportunities for kids ages 2-12 and their grown-ups. Seeds of Caring’s adult volunteers are known as “Ambassadors.” Join our group of behind-the-scenes Ambassadors who serve as boots-on-the-ground support for our programming. We appreciate your commitment to bring more kindness than ever before to our community — and to empowering our youth to lead the charge! Apply here!

Our Ambassador opportunities are flexible both in scheduling and the variety of ways to help. Each month, we will share a list of specific Ambassador opportunities and you can choose what best fits your schedule and interests. Ambassador opportunities take 1.5 - 3 hours of time and the majority of them can be completed from home. An Ambassador’s time commitment is flexible, although we ask you sign up for at least 4 Ambassador opportunities per year.
