PSA: Check Your Tetanus Shot Before Cleanup If you are wading into standing water or helping with storm cleanup, please pause and verify your tetanus booster first. Floodwaters often conceal sharp debris, rusty metal, and nails that can cause serious puncture wounds. If your shot isn't up to date (within the last 5 to 10 years), get a booster before heading out. Stay safe while helping!
